TraceSecurity’s Multi-factor Authentication Solution
Successfully Interfaces with Fidelity’s Online Banking Application

BATON ROUGE, La., Nov. 9, 2006 – TraceSecurity, a leading provider of on-demand security compliance management solutions, announced that TraceAuthenticate, the company’s multifactor authentication solution, now successfully interfaces with Fidelity National Information Services, Inc.’s (NYSE:FIS) online banking application. Fidelity is a provider of core processing for financial institutions.

“Until now, Fidelity customers had only one option for their multi-factor authentication solution,” said Jim Stickley, CTO of TraceSecurity. “This interface gives financial institutions an alternative – one that is a part of CUNA’s security solutions initiative and is also endorsed by other industry-leading companies. TraceAuthenticate is user-friendly, easy to deploy and is 99 percent transparent to the end user, making it the most practical multi-factor authentication solution available in the marketplace.”

Multi-factor authentication helps secure online transactions by adding an additional layer of customer identification beyond traditional user names and passwords. This type of authentication helps prevent account hijacking and Internet fraud.

TraceAuthenticate is an appliance-based solution that financial institutions can deploy to meet and exceed FFIEC guidelines while providing consumers the added protection of twofactor authentication to secure online transactions. It is installed at the financial institution and does not require users to load any additional software. TraceAuthenticate also includes a hybrid technology that gives financial institutions and consumers the option of “strong authentication”
by using an add-on toolbar – keeping sensitive customer data secure and protected from malicious phishing, spear phishing, pharming and man-in-the-middle attacks.

“Although we are not directly partnering with Fidelity, we fully support its initiatives,” said Pete Stewart, CEO of TraceSecurity. “The ability to seamlessly interface with Fidelity’s platform is a testament to the scalability and flexibility of TraceAuthenticate. We are committed to offering our innovative, cost-effective solutions to financial institutions, so they can, in turn, offer the most advanced Internet security protection to their customers.”

TraceAuthenticate interfaces with many other core data processors including Symitar and Open Solutions.
