BATON ROUGE, LA – (June 25, 2009) – TraceSecurity, a leading provider of Security Compliance, Risk and Audit solutions, today announced TraceCompliance Manager 5.0.
In a continuous effort to improve upon its status as the leader in security compliance technologies, TraceSecurity proudly announced today the release of the next generation of its comprehensive IT security compliance management solution, TraceSecurity Compliance Manager 5.0 (TSCM 5.0).
TraceSecurity Compliance Manager builds on its industry leading compliance management solution by integrating and automating real-time vulnerability assessments, vulnerability alerting, regulatory compliance auditing, policy management and dissemination, and employee education and testing.
To date, security assessments are provided on an annual or quarterly basis with the ability for the user to run manual scans in between. However, those manual scans often include false-positive results and lack any 3rd party expert validation. With the release of TSCM 5.0, TraceSecurity's comprehensive security assessment has been enhanced to provide a 3rd party expert verified and false-positive tested security assessment at any time. Additionally, clients of TraceSecurity now have complete control over security assessment scheduling including the ability to test the network daily, eliminating the resource intensive task of planning and coordinating spot check assessments with a vendor.
Other enhancements to TSCM 5.0 provide these benefits:
With the release of TSCM 5.0, organizations can now replace the point-in-time, quarterly security assessment methodology with real time security assessments that are managed completely by the customer providing faster visibility to high risk areas and immediate and up-to-date reporting that has been false-positive tested and verified by a 3rd party security expert. Now organizations can be ready for new security vulnerabilities and internal or regulatory audits at a moment's notice.
"With new network vulnerabilities introduced daily, protecting sensitive data has become extremely challenging. While a point-in-time security assessment may have been appropriate in the past, the current environment requires a more proactive approach" said Pete Stewart, CEO of TraceSecurity, Inc. "TraceSecurity has always been the leader in IT security compliance technology, and with the release of TSCM 5.0, TraceSecurity continues that leadership by making a real-time, 3rd party expert verified security assessment a reality."
TSCM 5.0 will be available to the general public on June 10, 2009.
